Nothing new to report.

It has been a while since I have posted anything new, but I am starting to feel the urge to create again.  Now I just have to create something that doesn't suck big piles of suckyness.  I have a couple of nothing that good that I may post just to post something.  They have been lying around gathering bitrust for awhile.  Maybe I will.

Persistence has paid off finally as I finally broke into the elusive 21 second bracket.  Not by much mind you.  A slight correction to my line into corner number 4 and the time was there.  I would like to thank all my supporters in this quest!

22.002 Damn!

For fun, a group of us meet every Friday at noon to race Sodi Karts at a local indoor track.  We have a lot of fun.  I have been slowly but surely getting quicker lap times. My goal is getting into the 21 second lap times.  On Friday I posted my fastest lap yet at 22.002 seconds.  Do you realize how close I came!!!!  2/1000th of a second.  Holy crap is that just annoying or what!!!  Just to give you some perspective a blink of an eye takes 400 milliseconds.  I missed it by 2 milliseconds. It takes a housefly longer than that to flap its wing!  That is just wrong on so many levels.  I think I will go sit in the corner and contemplate life for a while.

Disturbed Orbits.

I was in the shower this morning and I began to think about gravity and the way planets and moons and such can be in very stable orbits.  But if something large enough crosses the path of these stable bodies, their orbits are disturbed.  Their paths are no longer stable and secure.  They can be flung far off into space, or settle into radical new orbits.  

Then I thought how that is analogous to our lives.  We orbit our friends and loved ones in stable predictable paths, until something large crosses our paths. Then all hell breaks loose.


I am going to paint that.
